Meet Your Future Ukulele Instructor: Mr. Jared Silva (Aka Mister Jinrai)

Originally from the enchanting island of Maui and now based in Utah since 2015, Jared Silva, also known as Mister Jinrai, is your dedicated guide into the world of ukulele mastery.

Jared embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of 13, captivated by the soul-stirring melodies of Braddah IZ, particularly the iconic rendition of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow/ Wonderful World". His musical influences expanded to include legends like Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, and Carlos Santana, whose songs he skillfully adapted to the ukulele in his unique style.

Initially self-taught, Jared's passion and talent caught the attention of Maui High School's Ukulele and Choir Teacher, Mr. Dale Nitta, who recognized Jared's potential and invited him to receive advanced instruction. Fuelled by an insatiable curiosity, Jared eagerly delved into percussion techniques such as Flamenco, seamlessly blending them with contemporary Hawaiian and Reggae, thereby crafting a distinct musical identity.

As a solo artist, Jared has graced a diverse array of venues, from Open Mic Nights and Fundraiser Events to Bars, Cafes, and intimate private gatherings. His musical journey extends beyond performance, encompassing expertise in music production and record creation.
